Donna is not only an exceptional mentor and athlete. Donna Vano is a true and loyal friend of mine for 25 years now, she has mentored both of my Kids and my youngest Jordan thinks of her as her second Mom, she opens her home to the youth and gives them a safe place to skate, she is by their side all winter long and motivates, cheers on and trains the kids with her warm ways and talent! It is a huge honor to know Donna. Janet Roberts-Mullen

Donna proves that age is a state of mind. She has more energy and life in her than most people have in their thirties. And then there are those kids that you meet who act like they are 40 years old. Age to me seems to be determined my a mixture of maturity and vivaciousness

I think its remarkable that she started doing so many things at such an old age and I think it would be better for older people to start new things as they age because I think it would keep them energetic and as a result, healthy.

Total old-pro. So cool to see how mentoring is so much more than just teaching. There's something there that's way beyond just guiding someone on technique or style. It's about imparting a philosophy, not just a procedure. Great video.

I'm always inspired by the lives people lead as they grow older, the phases of their lives that they create by what they are still discovering about themselves and their capacity.
