I belong to Jesus Christ. His Spirit was knocking at the door of my heart for a long time although I didn't know it was Him until I opened the door of my heart to Him. Then I knew. His Spirit filled me with peace that I had never known before. It's been a long, hard road I've traveled. Yet looking back I see His hand on my life since a child. He whispered truths to me for many years and sometimes prepared my heart for troubled times to come. He''s always been there even when I didn't hear Him or He was silent. One does not need a degree or diploma to serve God. To be in His Kingdom is wonderful and full of awe at times. Sometimes it is as simple as a call to repentance. He guides my way. He shows me when I am in error and does it in such love and patience that no man or woman can do. That's because He knows my heart better than I do. He knows me better than I do. And He definitely knows me better than anyone else in the whole universe. I simply strive to walk in His Love everyday and then each day will count for something and I may not know what it is till Kingdom come. And that is probably best so as to avoid the trap of pride and self-glorification which I am subject to. I am a new creature in Him and what that looks like will be revealed when I leave this physical flesh. But I know it will be wonderful. I used to think God was against me-a lie from the pits of hell. The devil goes about like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. He is a liar and a thief and lives to keep the world in confusion and chaos. But in Christ we are more than conquerors. Eye has not seen nor ear heard the good things that God has prepared for those that love Him. And to know Him is to Love Him. These are things I learned in the Bible. And His Holy Spirit helps all of us to understand the Bible. Without Him in you they are lifeless words and hard to understand. But once receiving the Holy Spirit the Bible comes alive. (And I do not mean the Bible has no value without the Spirit, just that with the Spirit the Word comes alive!
